State Representative Dave Paul (D-Oak Harbor) sent out the following email from his campaign account on Sat., Jun. 18, 2022.

Friends,

In case you missed it–my opponent has been working with Rep. Jim Walsh at campaign rallies. We deserve better than that.

We still have still have $1100 left to raise before midnight to reach our goal. Can you help us and donate today?

[Ed. Note: donation link omitted.]

Our district–and our state–deserves better than Jim Walsh. Can I count on you to help us reach our goal to continue our work to protect reproductive rights, strenghten [sic] our schools, and address climate change?

[Ed. Note: donation link omitted.]

Thanks for all of your support.

Sincerely,

Dave

Friends,

I was disapointed to learn this week that Jim Walsh was the headline speaker at my opponent’s fundraiser. Rep. Walsh, a Republican from Aberdeen, is an incredibly devisive individual. Last year, he recieved backlash from both sides of the aisle for wearing a yellow Star of David while comparing vaccine policies to the Holocaust.

You know that I can work well with nearly anybody, and I have a strong record of collaborating across the aisle. However, our district–and our state–deserves better than Jim Walsh.

If Republicans win the majority, Jim Walsh will almost certainly become the Chair of the House Civil Rights and Judiciary Committee. Let’s not let that happen. Let’s redouble our commitment to retaining the majority—and putting your priorities first in the Washington State Legislature.

Please donate now.

[Ed. Note: donation link omitted.]

With the primary election right around the corner, we need to raise $2000 over the next 2 days to get our message out to voters across our district. Even a donation of $25 will help us reach our goal.

[Ed. Note: donation link omitted.]

Thank you for your support, and thanks for all you do to support our community.

Sincerely,

Dave
